Removing barriers for refugees and asylum seekers

Newly-arrived refugees and asylum seekers are often displaced due to environmental disasters, wars or risk of persecution. This means that every family and individual will have unique challenges and needs.

Without CatholicCare Victoria’s support, these challenges can form barriers to personal wellbeing, social participation, education, training, and employment.

Everyone has the right to connect with their community and feel like they belong in Australia. And everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed.

We welcome everybody, including First Nations people, people of all ethnicities and religious beliefs, people of all abilities, all ages and people from the LGBTQIA+ community.
