Fundraising at your school

Through school fundraising activities, students learn more about social responsibilities, empathy and develop compassion towards those in need.

Fundraising fosters teamwork among students, teachers, student leaders and parents. It gives students a sense of achievement and shows them how their collective efforts can bring real positive change in the lives of those who are struggling.

We deeply value the partnership with your school. Together we can continue to provide transformational, personal and social change.

An opportunity for your school to put faith into action and help support some of the most vulnerable families in our community. 

 

Family Week is a wonderful time to come together to reflect on and celebrate the vital role of our families, in whatever form they take. Family is where we may experience love and care; where we learn to grow and thrive; and where we have the opportunity to form our most supportive connections. Within the family we learn the value of forgiveness and starting over, of trying, failing and being supported to try again. 

 

CCV invites your school community to join Family Week 2025 by hosting a school fundraiser, and making a donation towards our mission. 

 

School resources 

We provide resources for your school to help make Family Week a celebration. It includes fun activities for fundraising that will inspire your students and their families to make a difference in our communities. 

 

Through Family Week, your students can work towards their social justice goals through fundraising at school. Funds raised will go towards various programs at CatholicCare Victoria to strengthen and empower children, young people, individuals and families in our communities. 

 

Get involved in Family Week 2025.

We inspire students to put the Gospel’s mission into action and discover how they can part of the social justice activities and social services. 

 

We can partner with you to work on social justice goals, through fundraising activities and speak with your students about the need in our community. We can brainstorm ideas with social justice leaders on ways to fundraise.   

 

Presentations are free of charge if connected with fundraising activity. Alternatively, with a donation to support our charity, we can organise a speaker to address your school students or staff (for their required religious education hours), on the services we provide and how it relates to the principles of Catholic Social Teaching. 

 

All funds raised through school communities will go towards making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children, individuals, and families we support, by providing them with the care they need to get back on their feet.

Your impact

Last year, we supported over 33,000 people. The demand for our programs and services is increasing every day.

With the support of our compassionate supporters and partners, we help people facing unemployment and homelessness, experiencing mental health challenges, families struggling with relationship problems, people in prisons, newly arrived refugees and asylum seekers, and those experiencing grief and trauma.

We provide support to people at every stage of life and from all backgrounds. We work with individuals, families, and communities to build strength and resilience, and to empower them to reach their full potential.
