CCVH Board

John had a 40-year career in the Australian Army and Commonwealth Public Service with roles in training and development, personnel management, organisational design, resource modelling and management, community development and community services. John was Chair of Haven Home Safe housing and homelessness service and a Director there for 16 years. He was Chair of CatholicCare Sandhurst and a director of Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Services and CatholicCare Victoria. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree.

With 50 years in community service, Brian founded Argyle Community Housing and co-founded BlueCHP Ltd. He has held leadership roles in the St Vincent de Paul Society, chaired various advisory committees, and was CEO of Amélie Housing from 2013-2023. Brian is also a member of the CatholicCare Victoria Housing Finance Committee, Risk and Compliance Committee and the Project Coordination group.

Sally is a commercial and strategic business leader with an executive career in the financial services and health sectors. Her board experience spans the sports, health and not-for-profit sectors where her contribution has focused on achieving member and philanthropic outcomes, governing risk and financial outcomes, guiding strategic development, and creating inclusive and thriving board cultures. Sally holds a Bachelor of Business Banking & Finance (Honours); a Diploma in Financial Planning; a Graduate Diploma in Psychology; and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Kate McCormack (FAHRI) has over 30 years’ experience as a Human Resources Executive across retail, logistics and healthcare. She spent the last 19 years at Mercy Health Australia, the last 10 years of those as the Executive Director People, Learning & Culture. Kate is passionate about equal opportunity and diversity in the workplace. Kate holds a Graduate Diploma, Industrial Relations/Human Resource Management and a Master of Business, Industrial Relations/Human Resource Management RMIT University/Grenoble Ecole De Management. She has also studied at London Business School – Human Resource Strategy and Harvard Business School. She brings strong previous board experience as a member of the Mercy Health Foundation Board, Villa Maria Catholic Homes and more recently CatholicCare Victoria Board. Kate is currently Chief People Officer – Villa Maria Catholic Homes.

Amy is a seasoned legal and regulatory strategy expert with a background in property law. She played a key role in PEXA’s growth, including its IPO. Amy has also contributed to community service, including chairing Latitude’s Board for homeless youth and is now a member of the CatholicCare Victoria Housing. Amy is also a member of the CatholicCare Victoria Housing Risk and Compliance Committee and the Project Coordination Group.
