Free access to counselling for employees

AccessEAP (Employee Assistance Program) provides mental health and wellbeing support, including counselling, to employees and their immediate family members.

Support for personal and work-related issues 

The AccessEAP service provides confidential counselling to enhance mental and emotional wellbeing, and help address issues relating to personal and/or workplace settings.

Counselling offered through Access EAP is short-term and solution-based, and provided by qualified professional counsellors.

AccessEAP can help with a range of issues including or related to: 

  • personal issues
  • work/life balance
  • relationships
  • conflict 
  • life goals
  • gambling and addiction
  • trauma, grief and loss
  • depression and anxiety
  • stress
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander support
  • financial and legal concerns
  • parenting
  • communication skills
  • drug, alcohol and substance abuse


Support for immediate family members

Immediate family members of employees (e.g. spouse, parent, child) can access support through the Access EAP service.

How do I access this service?

We encourage employees to first discuss with their manager, team leader, or human resources team before contacting AccessEAP.

Employees and their immediate family members can access the Employee Assistance Program by contacting AccessEAP on 1800 818 728.

There is no charge to access this service.
