Parenting can be challenging, but you’re not alone
If you’re struggling with the challenges of parenting or want to enhance your parenting skills, participating in a parenting program can help.
Our Regional Parenting Program can assist you to feel more secure and confident about your parenting, and can help you build the skills you need to better support your children.
We provide group work and one-on-one education programs for parents, providing opportunities to:
- learn methods for dealing with difficult behaviours in children
- build confidence in parenting
- develop and consolidate skills in listening to children
- learn how to teach discipline and stop children from fighting
- discover that parenting can be enjoyable
How do I access this service?
Families and carers with children aged 2-18 years can access our Regional Parenting Program by calling one of our offices below.
Interpreter services can be arranged if required.
Community service organisations and health professionals can make referrals into the Regional Parenting Program by contacting us.
Fees
Regional Parenting Program sessions are free of charge.

The Regional Parenting Program service is funded by the Victorian State Government Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.
