We celebrate diversity

We believe a diverse workforce is an inclusive workforce, an innovative workforce, and a workforce with the skill and understanding to support people in all their differences.

We have a strong commitment to increase participation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across our workforce. We proactively seek to employ people of all genders, ages, religions and faith backgrounds, sexual orientation, abilities, and cultural backgrounds.

We’re here for everyone

CatholicCare Victoria’s support services are available to all individuals or groups regardless of race, religious beliefs or economic status.

Supporting Victorians

We value our staff

Our employees are key to our success – they bring new and creative responses to challenges we face in our work, and to the delivery of quality services to our local communities.

We offer a family friendly working environment, flexible working arrangements, and many other benefits including:

In addition to making a difference to people in need, working for a not-for- profit organisation means that you can receive a portion of your salary income tax free, increasing your take home pay each year:

• $15,900 on living expenses
• $2,650 towards meals and entertainment

We value the contribution of our employees by supporting training and development.

We aim to enhance our employees’ knowledge and skills to better serve our clients and support our organisation’s strategic goals, while also encouraging personal growth in an ever-evolving environment.

To help you maintain a healthy work-life balance, we offer flexible work and leave arrangements. This can include changes to the rostered working hours, flexible start and finish times (within the span of hours) and purchased leave. Approval of arrangements is required dependent on clients and program needs.

We are committed to providing face-to-face services for the people we help. However, depending on the role and responsibility and underpinned by trust and team alignment, we offer the possibility of working from home saving you the time and cost for the commute on those days.

Personal leave
Your health and wellbeing is important to us. That’s why we go above and beyond with our personal and carer’s leave policy, offering 21 days per year. These are designed for you to care for yourself and the ones you love.

Parental leave
Becoming a parent is unforgettable. We don’t want you to miss a moment of it. CCV provides up to 14 weeks paid parental leave with enhancements to support returning to work for both birth and adoptive parents.

Purchased leave
You can purchase leave in advance to reduce the amount of income tax you would otherwise pay.

Study leave
Aiming to develop and progress your career? To support the development of skills relevant to your role, study leave may be offered for exam days.

Health is important and to help you take care of yours and your family’s health we facilitate discounted
private health insurance offers.

Life has its ups and downs and to support you through them, we offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which is a confidential counselling service for you and your immediate family members.

Through this free service you have access to external counselling for personal, family or work-related issues that might be  impacting your wellbeing.

To help your dollar go further, you can take advantage of hundreds of discounts we offer from major participating retailers and restaurants to save on things you buy every day. This offering includes Novated Lease options.

Whether you are training for a marathon or keen to try a new fitness program, we support you! With our incredible gym partners, you can save money and look after yourself at the same time.

If you would like to contribute to the community beyond the scope of your role, we have a range of volunteer opportunities for you.

Refer a friend or someone you know to join the team. If the person is hired, you will be eligible for a referral bonus of $500.
