CatholicCare Victoria

Join us for Clemente in 2021

Clemente Fitzroy has offered a fresh start for many whom have come from disadvantaged backgrounds, and for those who have subsequently missed opportunities for a university education.

In March 2021, CatholicCare’s Clemente program will kick off the new semester with a unit on English Literature, where students will explore poems, shorts stories, novels and drama.

Clemente offers a free, supported two-year (four-unit) Liberal Arts program where, upon completion, students receive a Certificate of Liberal Arts that allows them to gain entry into mainstream university.

Further to this, Clemente gives students the opportunity to develop structure and organisation skills, self-regulation, learning skills, critical thinking, objectivity, and other valuable life skills with the additional help of a Learning Partner and mental health support. Clemente welcomes adults of all ages!

Clemente has provided me with a purpose, and that has had profound effects and changes on my life."
