Make a promise for mental health day

There are thousands of people struggling with mental health and wellbeing each and every day in our local communities. 

Looking after our mental health has been particularly challenging throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, but by taking small steps to improve our mental health, we can make a positive change in our lives and the lives of others.

Monday 10 October 2022 is World Mental Health Day – a day which serves as a reminder that looking after our mental health and wellbeing is more important than ever.

Mental Health Australia say that making a mental health promise is a great way to prioritise our mental health.

The World Health Organisation has made a range of free downloadable factsheets and help-sheets focused on depression and suicide, which you can find on their website here.

The Mental Health Australia website also have a list of 24/7 Crisis Counselling Services.
