That’s why we’re proud to be pitching at this year’s Give Where You Live Pitch Up event, spotlighting our Settle Well Next Phase program.

For refugees and asylum seekers of all ages, arriving in a new country is just the beginning. Many face language barriers, cultural disconnection, and the invisible weight of trauma. These challenges can make it difficult to engage in education, find employment, or feel a sense of belonging.

Settle Well Next Phase is designed to meet people where they are—offering intensive job readiness support that helps individuals take confident steps toward independence and stability.

What Is Settle Well Next Phase?

Settle Well Next Phase is a community-based program that supports refugees and asylum seekers as they transition into further education, training, and employment. It’s not just about finding a job—it’s about building a future.

Through the program, participants receive:

• Career exploration and goal setting tailored to their interests and strengths.
• Resume building and interview preparation with culturally sensitive guidance.
• Access to training, volunteering, and employment pathways through local partnerships.
• Ongoing mentoring and support to navigate workplace expectations and build confidence.
