ParentsNext Employment Program

If you have not worked in paid employment within the last six months, and your youngest child is aged under six, ParentsNext can help get you work-ready.

ParentsNext is a requisite Centrelink referral program.

How we can help

Juggling parenting with finding work can be difficult. Our ParentsNext team can help you find your pathway to employment, by working with you to set and reach your goals.

We can assist parents with:

  • identifying and setting education and employment goals

  • developing pathways to achieve set goals

  • balancing preparing for work with parenting responsibilities

  • access to local services

  • job interview techniques

  • finding the right courses and training

  • resume and letter writing

  • advice on childcare options

 

Our team will work with you to find exciting education and employment opportunities that fit your needs.

Who is this service for?

ParentsNext is a requisite Centrelink referral program for parents who:

  • are receiving Parenting Payments

  • have not worked in paid employment within the last six months

  • have a child aged under six

 

To access this program, please contact Centrelink.

Free.

This service is funded by the Commonwealth Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
