Counselling in schools

We employ clinical psychologists and counsellors with specialisations in educational, clinical and counselling psychology, and place them within a school community.

We also provide clinical assessments for students to guide educational planning.

All Primary and Secondary Schools, regardless of faith, are welcome to purchase our School Counselling service. We can tailor our service to suit the needs of your school community.

Our School Counsellors can support students to:

develop healthy strategies for managing social issues
identify, understand and manage emotions, including stress and anxiety
cope with life’s issues that may be getting in the way of their education, or that are impacting on their friendships and other relationships
address issues resulting in depression, eating disorders, behavioural problems, self-harm or poor sleep
reduce the likelihood of engaging in risk taking behaviour
complete clinical assessments

Supporting Wellbeing

Our psychologists and counsellors work alongside teaching and wellbeing staff to support children and their families so that school is a positive experience for all.

Our psychologists and counsellors can provide confidential and non-judgemental support for issues including:

grief and loss
coping with change
family separation or divorce
social issues within the school e.g. bullying, conflict, relationships
coping with anxiety and depression
developing social skills
self-harm and suicidal ideation
anger management
family violence and trauma

Who is this service for?

All students are welcome to access our services, regardless of faith.

All schools across Greater Melbourne, Geelong and Gippsland and other regional areas of Victoria can access our School Counselling service. All students within that school community are eligible for the service.

Fees

Please contact our team for a quote. The purchase of School Counselling covers all ongoing costs, fees are not charged to individual students or their families.
