Kinship Care Practitioner (2 Positions)

75 and 45 hour per fortnight, continuing positions.

The Kinship Care Practitioner will support Kinship Care families to care for children’s safety, stability, and development. To provide new kinship placements with family services support, and flexible brokerage, which will maintain and promote the stability of the placement. The position will also supervise and support case contracted Kinship Care placements to achieve permanency for children in out-of-home care. The position requires regular travel outside the office base to outreach to client homes or other designated outpost facilities.

School Counsellor (Internal applicants only)

Melbourne
36 hours per fortnight, maximum term until 19 December 2025

The role provides high quality counselling service to students in designated schools, consistent with the ethos, practices and protocols of CatholicCare Victoria and within the Australian Psychological Society’s and the Psychologists Registration Board of Victoria’s professional guidelines.

The School Pastoral Care Worker is highly involved in the school community and supports the need of parents and staff, identifies and assists in referrals, promotes communication and cooperation between schools and families and ensures a high level of service quality and delivery.
