Family Counsellor

Ballarat

The CatholicCare Victoria Counselling programs aims to ensure the wellbeing of individuals, couples and families by minimising the emotional, social and economic costs of disruption to daily functioning and / or relationships. Services are for all community members including from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, indigenous people, low-income earners, sole parents and those living in remote areas. The Family Counselling service is positioned within the Counselling and Relationship Services portfolio. This position is required to outpost across the catchment.

Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner

Family Preservation and Reunification Practitioner

Ballarat
75 hours per fortnight, maximum term until 30 June 2026.

Family Preservation and Reunification Practitioners are responsible for working as lead practitioners by undertaking complex case work. Family Preservation and Reunification Practitioners demonstrate an advanced level of skill and competence in their work due to their experience in working in similar child and family focused roles. 

Family Services Practitioner

Ballarat
60 hours per fortnight, maximum term position until 30 June 2027.

Working as a Family Services Practitioner you will engage with children, young people and parents/caregivers in a child focused, empowering and meaningful way. Using a Relational Approach practitioners work with families to Connect; Understand; Link-Up; Build and Empower; and Create Opportunities and will work closely with other stakeholders and professionals.

Financial Accountant, Payroll

Geelong or Ballarat

The Finance team oversees the income and expenditure in addition to ensuring effective business running with minimum disruptions to CCV. Team Leader, Family Relationship and Wellbeing Services

The position has leadership and operational responsibility across portfolio activities to ensure quality service provision. The position is responsible for coordinating and monitoring caseloads, including providing support, guidance and supervision to staff to ensure positive outcomes. The position may be required to carry an active caseload.

Victims Support Worker, Victims Assistance Program

Youth Worker, Youth Justice Community Support Services (YJCSS)

CatholicCare Victoria’s Youth Justice Community Support Service (YJCSS) is an integrated approach to the provision of intensive support and services to young people involved with Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) Youth Justice Unit to complement the statutory case management for clients assessed as requiring high to intensive level of intervention.
