FOCCUS (Facilitating Open Couple Communication, Understanding and Study) is a one-on-one pre-marriage education program for individual couples to reflect on their relationship in a private, confidential setting.
Couples complete an online inventory then work through their responses with a qualified facilitator over three 50-minute sessions. All three sessions must be attended to complete the workshop.
This private setting allows couples to discuss the strengths they bring and the challenges they may face as their relationship evolves.
FOCCUS is conducted by qualified and experienced educators who have a sound understanding of relationship theory.
FOCCUS is delivered in three 50-minute sessions.
- Couples who are planning to marry in the Church and have been requested to attend by their priest. However, those who are not planning to marry and/or are in committed relationships are also welcome.
- This program is available to all individuals, regardless of religious beliefs, gender, sexuality or age.
