We actively work to listen to, empower and protect children
CatholicCare Victoria is committed to being a Child Safe organisation.
We are committed to ensuring the safety, wellbeing and dignity of all who use our services. We particularly seek to create conditions that reduce the likelihood of harm to children.
We have zero tolerance of all forms of abuse and we will only partner with similarly committed organisations.
We actively support people’s rights and have internal systems and processes to ensure children, young people and vulnerable others are seen, heard, believed and responded to. We take all concerns and any disclosures of abuse seriously, whatever their origin.
We actively work to listen to and empower children and vulnerable others to participate in decisions impacting their lives.
