Our ParentsNext employment program assist parents to plan and prepare for employment by the time their youngest child reaches school age.

If you have not worked in paid employment within the last six months, and your youngest child is aged under six, ParentsNext can help get you work-ready.

Our ParentsNext team can help you develop your pathway to employment by working with you to set and reach your goals.

We can assist parents with:

  • identifying and setting education and employment goals
  • develop pathways to achieve set goals
  • balancing preparing for work with parenting responsibilities
  • access to local services
  • job interview techniques
  • finding the right courses and training
  • resume and letter writing
  • advice on childcare options
